Laura Autumn

Laura is a Programs Coordinator with the Bethlehem Institute for Peace and Justice (BIPJ), where she supports public engagement and conference programming. She holds a MAS in Transitional Justice, Human Rights, and the Rule of Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, and BAs in International Relations, Spanish, and Latin American & Latina/o Studies from Wheaton College (IL).

Before joining BIPJ, she interned with Justapaz in Colombia (2023), researching how Protestant churches engage reconciliation and human rights in conflict settings; Amnesty International in Switzerland (2025), supporting the digital documentation of human rights violations; and Churches for Middle East Peace in the U.S. (2025), supporting outreach and engagement among evangelical Christians. She is particularly interested in the roles that religion, civil society, and faith-based actors play in shaping transitional justice and peace processes in contexts of mass violence and systemic injustice. On a lighter note, she enjoys traveling, learning languages, and frequenting local bakeries.
