Abeer Shehadeh

Abeer Shehadeh is a Palestinian Christian social justice advocate and civil society leader. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations and has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, leading resource development and managing research and community-based projects in environmental justice, human rights, and women’s entrepreneurship. For over a decade, she has also been engaged in advocacy on human rights and justice in the context of Palestine, working with policymakers, diplomats, and government representatives in the United States and Europe.


Abeer is involved in faith-based and community initiatives focused on peacebuilding, reconciliation, and justice, both locally and internationally. Her engagement is shaped by her own Palestinian Christian experiences and perspective, particularly at the intersections of faith, identity, justice, and solidarity. She is a Fellow with the Bethlehem Institute for Peace and Justice and co-host of Across the Divide.
